| Abstract: | This report includes the appendices for the full research report examining implementation of an early warning system (EWS) piloted by the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands Public School System (CNMI PSS) during the 2023/24 school year. Appendix A provides additional background on proficiency rates on standardized reading assessments in elementary schools in CNMI PSS and its efforts to address reading proficiency through the data-driven decisionmaking steps of the EWS. Appendix B provides additional details on the study data sources, study sample, data processing, missing data, and analytic methods. Appendix C details the full results of the findings on the study's research questions, Appendix D provides the interview protocol, and Appendix E provides the qualitative codebook. |
