| Description (Translated): | [cat] Si bé Proust no va desenvolupar cap teoria de la traducció pròpiament dita, sí que es pot parlar d’una «traductologia proustiana» que es configura a partir del seu pensament quan evoca de manera esparsa el fet traductiu. En aquesta tesi analitzem no només l’experiència transformadora que va suposar per a ell traduir John Ruskin, sinó que també cosim aquests fils de pensament escampats tant en la seva obra publicada —pòstums i inèdits— com en altre tipus de textos de caire més personal: la seva correspondència. L’objectiu és perfilar els contorns del que podria ser aquesta hipotètica teoria traductològica proustiana, reconstituir-la i posar-la en relació amb els principals corrents de pensament sobre la traducció. [eng] Although Proust has not developed a theory of translation itself, we contend that it is possible to speak of a «theory of proustian traductology». This theory is configured from his thinking when he sparsely evokes the translation fact all over his writings, his novel, the Recherche, and also other works –posthumous and unpublished-, and his correspondence. In this thesis, I demonstrate in one hand how translating John Ruskin into French was a transformative experience for Proust and, on the other, how he configured his traductology theory and place it in the center of his ars poetica. The aim is to outline the contours of what could be this hypothetical Proustian translation theory, reconstitute it and put it in relation to the main contemporary translation studies. |
