Η παρούσα μελέτη αναδεικνύει τη σημασία της πρώτης μεταπολιτευτικής εκλογικής αναμέτρησης της 17ης Νοεμβρίου 1974, ως προσπάθεια θεσμικής τηλεοπτικοποίησης του εκλογικού ανταγωνισμού. Η Ελλάδα μετά από μία δεκαετία χωρίς εκλογικές αναμετρήσεις (συμπεριλαμβανομένης της επταετούς δικτατορίας των Συνταγματαρχών) διεξάγει τις πρώτες εθνικές εκλογές σε ένα πλαίσιο που αντανακλά τους πολιτικούς κι επιτελεστικούς όρους της μεταπολίτευσης. Σε αυτό το πλαίσιο διερευνάται η σημασία της μετάβασης του εκλογικού ανταγωνισμού από τις «πλατείες» στο τηλεοπτικό στούντιο που γίνεται με δομημένο και στοχευμένο θεσμικό τρόπο. Εξετάζεται και αναλύεται ο λόγος των πρωταγωνιστών της συγκεκριμένης μετάβασης ενώ ταυτόχρονα συγκροτείται ένα χρονικό γύρω από τη δεδομένη πολιτική στιγμή που θα μπορούσε να δράσει εξηγητικά για το ρόλο και τη σημασία που αποκτά η τηλεόραση στην πολιτική επικοινωνία της Γ’ Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας. ; This paper examines the elections of 17th November 1974, the first case of institutionalization of television in the Greek electoral competition. As the first Greek elections after a decade of political instability, owing to the diversion of democracy by the Junta, these elections seem to be interesting since they reflect not only the political and executive conditions of “Metapolitefsi” but also the way and the relevant political effects of the transition from "squares" to television studios. Using the methodological tools of the Essex School of discourse analysis and critical discourse analysis (CDA), this paper focuses on the discourse of both leaders of Greek political parties and the domestic press, composing a timeline around that particular political moment. |
