The research presented in this thesis is based on debugging tool SED (Symbolic Execution Debugger). KeY is a formal verification framework used for analyzing and verifying different Java applications annotated with JML specifications. We are performing the analysis of the effectiveness and efficiency of the features of SED using this Framework and analyze the results as to how these features prove to be understandable by the different users. We use our results in the form of tables and bar graphs to determine if it actually proves that the SED (Symbolic Execution Debugger) really helps to reduce the barrier of formal verification. The output in the form of tables generated helps us determine whether there is a significant difference or not while evaluating the results. |
