| Περιγραφή: | The research work is based on determining the prevalence of Toxocara canis in dog excreta and eye infections in people living near the parks of the district of Villa el Salvador, since it is common to find Toxocara canis in dog excreta, as the eggs of this parasite are expelled along with the feces. The high number of eggs generated by the adult female (250,000 per day) contributes to environmental pollution, while the methodology of the study was based on an applied quantitative approach, a non-experimental design and an analytical method. The instrument had a high reliability, the results obtained are being described in the results of the thesis, the following conclusion was reached: The prevalence of toxocara canis in dog excreta and eye infections in people living near the parks of the district of Villa el Salvador was determined. A total of 159 adult species were found in the microscopic analysis. ; El trabajo de investigación está fundamentado en determinar la prevalencia del toxocara canis en excretas de perros y las infecciones oculares en pobladores aledaños a los parques del distrito de Villa el Salvador, ya que es habitual encontrar Toxocara canis en las excretas de los perros, ya que los huevos de este parásito son expulsados junto con las heces. El elevado número de huevos que genera la hembra adulta (250,000 diarios) contribuye a la polución ambiental. En tanto la metodología del estudio se fundamentó en que es un estudio tipo aplicado el enfoque cuantitativo el diseño no experimental y el método analítico. Asimismo en la investigación se trabajó con 200 encuestados que respondieron un instrumento con diversos ítems para verificar la prevalencia del toxocara.El instrumento tuvo una confiabilidad alta, los resultados obtenidos se están describiendo en los resultados de la tesis, se llegó a la siguiente conclusión que fue Se determinó la prevalencia del toxocara canis en excretas de perros y las infecciones oculares en pobladores aledaños a los parques del distrito de Villa el Salvador.
