This study, it is aimed to examine the psychologically factors that judo athletes competing in children and pre-cadet categories are affected before and during the competition. In this research, phenomenology, one of the qualitative research methods was used. The study group of the research was determined according to the deliberate sampling method. The study group of the research consists of 12 interviewees, seven Judo Trainers (2nd level and above) whose athletes competed in the Children and Pre-cadet Turkey Champions included in the Judo Federation activity programs, and five active judo athletes who competed in the Children and Pre-cadet Turkey championships. A semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool. The data obtained in the research were analyzed by the content analysis method. According to the findings, it was determined judo athletes competing in the categories of children and pre-cadet were psychologically affected by trainers, motivation, choracteristics rival athletes, behaviours of rival athletes, equipments and environment. It is thought that this study is important in terms of forming a basis for the studies that can be done to solve the problems that judo athletes and judo coaches competing in children and pre-cadet categories experience before and during the competition related to their psychological skills. ; Bu çalışmada, minikler ve yıldızlar kategorilerinde yarışan judo sporcularını müsabaka öncesi ve müsabaka esnasında etkileyen psikolojik faktörlerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olgubilim (fenomenoloji) çalışması kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu kasti örneklem yöntemiyle belirlenmiştir.
