| Description: | A digital program is presented for the automatic processing of flight data from the triaxial accelerometer inflated falling sphere system developed by Air Force Cambridge Research Laboratories for the measurement of upper atmospheric air density. The program also computes the uncertainty of each final data point according to input estimates of component uncertainties and computed varying measures of data quality. Results using flight data from three recent launchings of the experiment are presented (16 and 23 May 1968 at Kauai, Hawaii and 31 January 1969 at Wallops Island, Virginia). (Author) |
