| Περιγραφή: | The formation of children’s environmental awareness is an essential area of modern preschool education aimed at fostering a responsible attitude toward nature and understanding sustainable development principles. It helps minimize educational losses caused by various factors (military operations in Ukraine, lack of environmental awareness, etc.) and contributes to the harmonious development of individuals. The authors consider the formation of environmental awareness, life skills, and the ability to harmoniously interact with the natural environment to be a key area of work for preschoolers. Modern methods and means of integrating the values of sustainable development in preschool education are being considered; this is one of the main approaches to minimizing educational losses. The importance of developing ecological thinking among preschoolers in preventing educational losses is substantiated. Forming children’s environmental awareness includes various methods and approaches, such as interactive classes, outdoor games, familiarization with natural processes and phenomena, and participation in environmental campaigns and projects. An essential aspect of this program is teaching children the basics of waste sorting, water, and energy conservation, which helps them develop environmentally responsible behavior. In addition, attention should be paid to the development of children’s emotional attitudes toward nature through art, literature, and music, which helps them to better understand the relationship between humans and the environment. In general, environmental education in preschool education institutions contributes to the comprehensive development of children, and the formation of their values and life competencies necessary for the sustainable development of society. Given today's challenges and threats, it is important to ensure that environmental aspects are integrated into all areas of education and training, which will help raise a generation of conscious, responsible, and active citizens. Формування екологічної свідомості дітей є важливим напрямом сучасної дошкільної освіти, що спрямований на виховання у них відповідального ставлення до природи та розуміння принципів сталого розвитку. Це допомагає мінімізувати освітні втрати, спричинені багатьма факторами (воєнні дії в Україні, недостатня екологічна поінформованість тощо) та сприяє гармонійному розвитку особистості. Ключовим напрямом роботи з дітьми дошкільного віку автори називають формування екологічної свідомості, життєвих навичок і здатності до гармонійної взаємодії з природним довкіллям. Розглянуто сучасні методи та засоби інтеграції цінностей сталого розвитку у дошкільній освіті, що є одним із основних підходів до мінімізації освітніх втрат. Обґрунтовано значення формування екологічного мислення у дітей дошкільного віку в межах попередження освітніх втрат. |
