| Description: | The article analyzes the possibilities of realizing the tasks of continuous civic education in the context of the holistic educational space, the peculiarities of managing this process in connection with the current socio-economic tendencies of the development in Ukraine. It necessitates the transition of education to the standards of competent education. In this perspective, it’s investigated some aspects of developing the national, civically oriented education (school, university) in period of Ukrainian state revival, as well as the role of the Minister of Education, Rector Ivan Ogienko in this process. It proves that valuable historical heritage is not only relevant to the modern process of state-building, renewal of the Ukrainian school, but also counteract the formal implantation of foreign innovations in the field of education. It also analyses contemporary education documents, that determine the essence of civic education, strategic directions and technologies for its development, identify problems, that cause difficulties in its practical implementation. Emphasis is placed on the need to develop a concept and program for its continuity, which will form an invariant component as a common platform for productive personality formation and variants for its implementation according to the level of the educational system, which serves the appropriate level of educational activity. Integrally, it should be open and clear to all subjects of educational activity, the logic and program for the gradual development of person’s civic competences. The basic managerial positions of modernizing higher professional education through the logic of formation and interaction of educational spaces of subjects of educational activity are presented. They realizes vertically – from the highest national to regional, and further – the educational space of each particular educational institution. У статті порушуються проблеми розвитку громадянської освіти в Україні, зокрема її управлінської складової, через призму аналізу потенційних можливостей адаптації концепту розбудови національної освіти періоду УНР, а також цілісного освітнього простору як основи забезпечення її неперервності. |
