| Περιγραφή: | Introduction. The phenomenon of emotional burnout can manifest itself in various areas of human life. Despite the fact that from the very beginning, the phenomenon was considered and continues to be studied as a result of people's interaction with each other, primarily through communication, the phenomenon is now studied as a complex phenomenon that affects various areas of human life and manifests itself in various forms. That is why the topic of emotional burnout is not only relevant, but also reflected in various scientific fields. The purpose is to analyse the main directions of research on the phenomenon of emotional burnout in foreign psychology. Methods – content analysis, comparison, systematisation, classification. Originality. The article provides an overview of the current areas of empirical research on the phenomenon of emotional burnout over the past five years, presented in the ScienceDirect catalogue. As a result of the analysis, three topical areas of research on the phenomenon have been identified. The first of them is related to the role of emotional intelligence in the emergence of burnout. The second area examines the role of emotional labour in the onset of burnout. The third area is related to the social identity of a person. Conclusion. The research of all three areas of the phenomenon of emotional burnout not only complements existing approaches to the study of burnout, but also creates an opportunity to adapt these approaches and methods to meet new challenges of the external environment and changes taking place in the world. New urgent demands of people, in particular, dealing with emotional burnout in times of change and uncertainty, requires not only the use of fundamental theoretical and methodological principles and approaches to work, but also taking into account the changing characteristics of the environment. У статті подано огляд актуальних напрямів емпіричних досліджень феномена емоційного вигорання за останні п`ять років, представлених у каталозі ScienceDirect. У результаті аналізу визначено три актуальні напрямки досліджень феномена. Перший із них пов'язаний із роллю емоційного інтелекту у виникненні вигорання. У межах другого напрямку досліджується роль емоційної праці у виникненні вигорання. Третій напрямок пов'язаний із соціальною ідентичністю людини. |
