| Description: | The monograph by S. Zhelezniak “highlights the significance of the audio component in screen works, explores the features of the soundtrack in cinema, television and its transformation, comprehends the theoretical basis for the use of sound and its connection with the frame in art historical, cultural and other contexts, highlights the areas of application of soundtrack elements and their interaction with the image in various types and genres of contemporary audiovisual practices, and the impact of sound on the viewer”. According to the author, “the monograph may be of interest to scholars, in particular in the fields of art studies, cultural studies, teachers and students of the speciality “Audiovisual Art and Production”, sound engineers, film and television directors, and anyone else interested in screen culture and its sound element” (Zhelezniak, 2023, p. 1). The monograph consists of an introduction, a list of references, appendices, and nine chapters: “Theoretical and Methodological Foundations of the Study of the Sound Element”, “Key Concepts of the Study of the Audio Component of a Screen Work”, “Scientific Study of Phenomena and Processes in Contemporary Audiovisual Culture”, “Features of the Soundtrack in Different Types and Genres of Contemporary Cinema”, “Technological Basis of the Audio Element in a Video Project”, “Creative and Psychological Principles of Working with the Soundtrack in Screen Works”, “Problems of Using the Sound and Vision Component in Television: Traditional and Synthetic Genres”, “The Sound Component in Contemporary Audiovisual Practices: Interactive Works, Web Documents”, “Further Transformation of the Sound Element: Foundations and Prospects”. У монографії С. Желєзняка «висвітлюється значення аудіоскладника в екранних творах, досліджуються риси фонограми у кінематографі, телебаченні та її трансформації, осмислюється у мистецтвознавчих, культурологічних та інших контекстах теоретичне підґрунтя використання звуку та його зв’язку з кадром, висвітлюються напрямки застосування елементів фонограми та їхня взаємодія із зображенням у різних видах і жанрах сучасних аудіовізуальних практик, вплив звуку на глядача». Як стверджує автор, «монографія може зацікавити науковців, зокрема у галузях мистецтвознавства, культурології, викладачів і студентів спеціальності “Аудіовізуальне мистецтво та виробництво”, звукорежисерів, режисерів кіно і телебачення та усіх інших, хто цікавиться екранною культурою та її звуковим елементом» (Желєзняк, 2023, с.1). Монографія складається зі вступу, списку використаних джерел, додатків та дев’яти розділів – «Теоретико- методологічні основи дослідження звукового елементу», «Ключові поняття дослідження аудіоскладника екранного твору», «Наукове опрацювання явищ та процесів у сучасній аудіовізуальній культурі», «Особливості звукової доріжки у різних видах і жанрах сучасного кінематографу», «Технологічне підґрунтя аудіоелементу у відеопроєкті», «Творчі та психологічні засади роботи із саундтреком в екранних творах», «Проблематика використання звукозорового компоненту в телебаченні: традиційні та синтетичні жанри», «Звуковий складник у новітніх аудіовізуальних практиках: інтерактивні твори, вебдокументарі», «Подальше перетворення звукового елементу: основи та перспективи». |
