| Description: | The article highlights the issue of forming ecological consciousness of students of professional pre-higher pedagogical education in the conditions of the present and in the context of the tasks of professional training of future teachers, who must recognize their educational potential as professionals equipped with methods of ecological and educational work within the framework of pedagogical activities. The author presents a definition of ecological consciousness as a simultaneously established and constantly evolving worldview of an individual, which determines a certain level of ecological thinking as a form of societal behavior. A number of generalised conclusions about the state of the problem in modern scientific theory are formed. The problem of the effectiveness of environmental knowledge of students of pedagogical education is highlighted in the context of their professional training and civic activities. It is noted that only those systems of pedagogical work in higher education institutions that are based on consciousness and are associated only with the conscious acceptance of moral norms determined by society will be effective. The above is illustrated by the results of empirical research with the participation of students. On the basis of theoretical and empirical generalisations, the levels, components and criteria for assessing the environmental consciousness of students of professional pre-higher education are identified and characterised, the most effective factors, methods and techniques for its formation are determined. It is established that knowledge of environmental norms and moral rules does not always lead to a sufficient level of environmental thinking and proper attitude of students to the environment. Based on the results of the analysis of scientific theory and a survey of pedagogical staff of professional pre-higher education institutions on the factors of formation of environmental awareness, the most effective ones are identified. Effective methods and techniques for the formation of environmental consciousness in students, in particular, in pedagogical colleges, are proposed to teachers. У статті актуалізовано проблему формування екологічної свідомості здобувачів фахової передвищої педагогічної освіти в умовах сьогодення та в контексті завдань професійної підготовки майбутніх педагогічних працівників. Представлено авторське визначення екологічної свідомості як форми суспільної поведінки особистості. Сформовано низку узагальнених висновків щодо стану розв’язання проблеми у сучасній науковій теорії. Виокремлено проблему дієвості екологічних знань здобувачів педагогічної освіти. На основі теоретичних та емпіричних узагальнень виокремлено і схарактеризовано рівні, компоненти та критерії оцінювання екологічної свідомості здобувачів фахової передвищої освіти, визначено найбільш ефективні чинники, методи та прийоми її формування. |
