| Περιγραφή: | This thesis focuses on the ancient town of Osor (Apsorus), one of the key centers of the Kvarner Bay. It examines the historical-geographical context, ancient written sources, and the results of archaeological excavations, with a special emphasis on urban development and Osor’s role as a maritime hub. Particular attention is given to ceramic finds, especially terra sigillata, analyzed from the material discovered during the protective excavations in Zone A (2022–2024). A total of 39 fragments were studied and classified according to Dragendorff and Ritterling typologies, including a fragment stamped with the name of the potter SVRVS. The diversity of typologies and provenances indicates wide trade connections and Osor’s integration into the Mediterranean communication network. The study thus highlights Osor’s significance as an urban, commercial, and cultural center of the ancient Kvarner region. Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se antičkim gradom Osorom (Apsorus), jednim od ključnih središta Kvarnerskog zaljeva. Analiziraju se povijesno-geografski kontekst, antički pisani izvori i rezultati arheoloških istraživanja s posebnim naglaskom na urbanistički razvoj i funkciju Osora kao pomorskog središta. Posebna pažnja posvećena je keramičkim nalazima, osobito teri sigilati, čija je analiza provedena na materijalu pronađenom tijekom zaštitnih istraživanja u Zoni A (2022.–2024.). Ukupno je obrađeno 39 ulomaka, svrstanih prema tipologijama H. Dragendorffa i E. Ritterlinga, među kojima se ističe ulomak s pečatom keramičara SVRVS. Raznolikost tipoloških oblika i podrijetla ukazuje na široku trgovačku mrežu i uključenost Osora u mediteranske komunikacijske tokove. Rad time potvrđuje značaj Osora kao urbanog, trgovačkog i kulturnog središta antičkog Kvarnera. |
