| Description: | Development of cataloguers has been conducted at Kemerovo State University of Culture and Arts since 1969. The course “Library catalogs” has been changed for some years not only according to its name, but also the contents and approaches to its teaching. All that is caused by set of tendencies in development of information and library practice and the higher education in general. Current teaching of the course “Processing the analytic and synthetic information” is based on the technological approach to the library activity developed by N.I. Gendina and I.S. Pilko, and also on the implementation of information technologies. The purposes, objects, technological processes, resources, means, regulations, information products, subjects are provided and characterized in technological model of analytical and synthetic information processing. The analysis of designing bibliographic description, subject analysis, systematization, annotation, summarizing, reviewing allowed to reveal the general approaches to definition of technological activities in each of the called processes. Information products of analytical and synthetic information processing (heading of bibliographic list, the bibliographic description, a subject heading, keywords, a descriptor, a classification index, an annotation, the summary, the review etc.) are logical end of all technological cycle which can be presented as independently, and in the form of bibliographic list. These information products form a basis for information and analytical activity in all areas of modern society. The modern content of the course “Analytical and synthetic information processing” is beyond the frames of documents cataloguing in its traditional understanding and is focused on working out the various information and analytical products. Formation of professional competences within this course is possible with implementation of technological approach which promotes good training of the Bachelor in the field of analytical and synthetic information processing, and the lecturers of Technology of Documentary Communications Chair are very experienced in it. В статье рассмотрена эволюция преподавания курса «Аналитико-синтетическая переработка информации» на кафедре технологии документальных коммуникаций от традиционной каталогизации к созданию информационных продуктов с использованием в учебном процессе информационных технологий и технологического подхода. |
