| Περιγραφή: | Regional specificity and Ukrainian political elite aspiration to participate in the geopolitical games of top Western players without regard evident differences in ethnic and cultural orientation of regions have led to an acute political crisis. Factors and scenarios for these processes require urgent investigation. Based on a review of the historical background and system analysis I have examined a number of scenarios of possible changes in its geopolitical status. In the description of the object of research I focused on the history of Ukrainian territory and ethnos formation, as well as on its geographical and ethnic features. In my article, I represent my brief analysis of factors of last changes in Ukrainian politics, culture and economics. I pay special attention to the differences of political and cultural identity of the inhabitants of different regions of Ukraine. I conclude my approach make it possible not only to identify the five scenarios of the possible changes in Ukraine, but also to evaluate and rank them in terms of eligibility for Ukraine and Russia. На основе обзора исторических предпосылок и системного анализа существенных для Украины факторов, автор рассматривает сценарии возможного изменения её геополитического статуса. В результате исследования удалось не только идентифицировать ряд таких сценариев, но также оценить и ранжировать их с точки зрения приемлемости как для самой этой страны, так и для России. |
