| Description: | In today's conflict-prone world, experience of cultures, which are formed and currently existing in the ‘frontier zone’ is of particular importance. Such cultures and the states have an’ innate skill’ of tolerance and respect towards other cultures, and they have the ability to become a connecting element between the spaces, to which they do not completely belong themselves. On the one hand, the subject of my article is uniqueness, specificity and originality of national cultures in conditions of contemporary globalization processes. On the other hand, this subject is the historical experience of Belarus, as a culture that historically linked the East and West, not only of the Slavic world as such, but also the Slavic world with Romanesque one, thereby synthesizing Western and Slavic culture. For such interdisciplinary purposes I use general philosophical, culturological, historical and genetic approaches. It allowed me to show how, through the mediation of colliding cultural influences in architecture and fine arts, and by holding true to the Slavic and Byzantine roots in the language and literature, Belarus been able to implement its own state project. Considering the threats of the modern stage of collision of cultural influences, I pay particular attention to the network culture and atomization of modern society in general and Slavic world in particular. In the meantime, I believe the synthesis of the Eastern (Slavic) and Western traditions is still possible in Belarusian society. My conclusion is that rational look at local and global processes require countries rejection of egotism in the name of the permission of their own strategic problems, and suggesting abandonment of profitability at any cost and forgetting their own historical and socio-cultural origins. My second conclusion consists in the necessity to construct a world in which the culture of the frontier states is maintained and developed. Статья посвящена выявлению ценности, самобытности, специфики, неповторимости национальных культур в условиях современных глобализационных процессов. Рациональный взгляд на локальные, региональные и глобальные процессы предполагает отказ от эгоизма в отношении разрешения собственных проблем, а также восстановление исторических и социокультурных традиций, идеалов и ценностей. |
