Description:	The object of the study was the individual psychological characteristics of the journalist's personality. The subject of the study was empathy, a tendency to curiosity and research, stress resistance and communicative tolerance in journalists with different professional specializations. The master's thesis consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, a list of references (67 sources) and an appendix, which includes forms of the methods used and tables of statistical data. The volume of the master's thesis is 118 pages, which contain 36 figures and 39 tables. The introduction reveals the relevance of the research problem, the elaboration of the problematic, the purpose and objectives of the study, the object and subject of the study are defined, the main and additional hypotheses are formulated, the methods and empirical base are indicated, as well as the stages of the study, scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance of the work. The first chapter includes a review of foreign and domestic literature on the topic of individual psychological characteristics of journalists. The chapter reveals the concepts of the phenomena of empathy, inclination to curiosity and research, stress resistance and communicative tolerance. Also, the first part defines the professional specifics of the journalist's activities and the requirements for the personality of the journalist, an analysis of the results of studies of the individual psychological characteristics of journalists with different professional specializations is carried out. The conclusions of the first chapter represent the results of the study of the theoretical material. The second chapter is devoted to the empirical part of the study. It presents a description of the organization and methods of the conducted research and the results obtained using all the methods used: the questionnaire "Propensity for curiosity and research" (T. B. Kashdan, M. Gallagher and P. Silvia, adapted by A. F. Anufrieva, S. P. Elshansky, O. S. Efimova and D. V. Semenov), a questionnaire to determine the stress resistance of the individual (N. V. Kirsheva and N. V. Ryabchikova), a questionnaire of emotional empathy (A. Mekhrabian, N. Epshteyn, adapted by Yu. M. Orlov and Yu. N. Emelianov) and a test-questionnaire "Diagnostics of communicative tolerance" (V. V. Boyko). The chapter also presents a descriptive, comparative and correlational analysis of the research results. The conclusions for Chapter 2 include the main results of the empirical study. The conclusion summarizes the results of the theoretical and empirical parts of the work, as well as conclusions on the hypotheses put forward, substantiates the practical significance of the study, and describes possible prospects for further development of this issue. Объектом исследования стали индивидуально–психологические особенности личности журналиста. Предметом исследования стали эмпатия, склонность к любопытству и исследованию, стрессоустойчивость и коммуникативная толерантность у журналистов с разной профессиональной специализацией. Магистерская диссертация состоит из введения, двух глав, заключения, списка литературы (67 источников) и приложения, включающего в себя бланки применявшихся методик и таблицы статистических данных. Объем магистерской диссертации 118 страниц, на которых размещены 36 рисунков и 39 таблиц. Во введении раскрывается актуальность проблемы исследования, разработанность проблематики, ставятся цель и задачи исследования, определяются объект и предмет исследования, формулируются основная и дополнительные гипотезы, указываются методы и эмпирическая база, а также этапы проведения исследования, научная новизна, теоретическая и практическая значимость работы. Первая глава включает в себя обзор иностранной и отечественной литературы по теме индивидуально-психологических особенностей журналистов. В главе раскрываются понятия феноменов эмпатия, склонность к любопытству и исследованию, стрессоустойчивость и коммуникативная толерантность. Также в первой части определяется профессиональная специфика деятельности журналиста и требования к личности журналиста, проводится анализ результатов исследований индивидуально-психологических особенностей журналистов с разной профессиональной специализацией. Выводы по первой главе представляют собой итоги по изучению теоретического материала. Вторая глава посвящена эмпирической части исследования. В ней представлено описание организации и методов проведенного исследования и результатов, полученных по всем использованным методикам: опроснику «Склонность к любопытству и исследованию» (Т. Б. Кашдан, М. Галлахер и П. Сильвиа, в адаптации А. Ф. Ануфриева, С. П. Елшанского, О. С. Ефимовой и Д. В. Семенова), опроснику на определение стрессоустойчивости личности (Н. В. Киршева и Н. В. Рябчикова), опроснику эмоциональной эмпатии (А. Мехрабиан, Н. Эпштейн, в адаптации Ю. М. Орлова и Ю. Н. Емельянова) и тесту-опроснику «Диагностика коммуникативной толерантности» (В. В. Бойко). Также в главе представлены описательный, сравнительный и корреляционный анализ результатов исследования. Выводы по главе 2 включают в себя основные результаты эмпирического исследования. В заключении в обобщенном виде изложены результаты теоретической и эмпирической частей работы, а также выводы по выдвинутым гипотезам, обоснована практическая значимость исследования и описаны возможные перспективы дальнейшей разработки данной проблематики.
