Περιγραφή: The novel AlCrFeNiMo0.5Bx high entropy alloy-ceramic composite coatings with high forming quality were developed and successfully fabricated by laser cladding technology. With the addition of element B, the discontinuous white boride phase precipitated along the grain boundaries of the coatings, presenting a typical dendritic morphology, and the phase composition changed from “BCC1+BCC2” to “BCC1+BCC2+(Cr, Mo)2B”. The hardness of the AlCrFeNiMo0.5Bx coatings was all higher than that of the Q235 steel substrate, and showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with the increase of B content. Especially when x = 0.5, the hardness of the AlCrFeNiMo0.5B0.5 coating reached its maximum of 723 HV0.1, which was more than 5 times the hardness of the Q235 steel substrate. Correspondingly, the wear resistance also showed a similar trend with the increase of B content, that was, the AlCrFeNiMo0.5B0.5 coating had the lowest friction coefficient (0.51) and wear rate (1.01 × 10−5 mm3/(N · m)), exhibiting the best wear resistance, and demonstrating outstanding advantages in the field of dry sliding wear-resistant protective coatings.
