Σύμφωνα με τα διεθνή βιβλιογραφικά στοιχεία ως γυναικοκτονία ορίζεται το ύψιστης σημασίας και βαρύτητας σεξιστικό έγκλημα από πρόθεση έναντι των γυναικών, λόγω του ότι είναι γυναίκες. Η γυναικοκτονία αποτελεί ένα πολυπρισματικό και πολυσχιδές φαινόμενο, ακραίας έμφυλης βίας, του οποίου η έρευνα και η ερμηνεία δεν εξαντλεί-ται στην απλή παρατήρηση και συζήτηση. Η γένεση και η έκτασή του δε δεν αποτελεί απότοκο και σύμπτωμα μιας συγκεκριμένης ιστορικής/κοινωνικής συγκυρίας. Τουνα-ντίον, η γυναικοκτονία αποτελεί ένα μακραίωνο διαπολιτισμικό φαινόμενο, καθώς η παρουσία του γίνεται ορατή σε διαφορετικά πολιτισμικά, κοινωνικά και ιστορικά πλαίσια και συγκείμενα. Ενώ, οι συνέπειες και οι επιπτώσεις του διαχέονται μέσα στην κοινωνία προκαλώντας συναισθήματα ανασφάλειας, φόβου αλλά και τονίζο-ντας παράλληλα τον ανεπαρκή/ελλειμματικό τρόπο αντιμετώπισής του, τόσο σε κρα-τικό όσο και ατομικό επίπεδο. Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη τα ανωτέρω το παρόν ερευνητικό πόνημα φιλοδοξεί να διερευνήσει τον τρόπο με τον οποίο το φαινόμενο της γυναικο-κτονίας ορίζεται, ερμηνεύεται, αξιολογείται αλλά και επιδρά σε φοιτητές και φοιτή-τριες του Πανεπιστήμιου Αιγαίου. According to international bibliographic data, femicide is defined as the highest im-portance and serious sexist crime of intent against women, because they are women. Femicide is a multifaceted and multifaceted phenomenon of extreme gender-based violence, the research and interpretation of which is not limited to simple observa-tion and discussion. While its genesis and extent are not a consequence and symp-tom of a specific historical/social conjuncture. On the contrary, femicide is a long-standing intercultural phenomenon, as its pres-ence becomes visible in different cultural, social, and historical contexts. While its consequences and effects are diffused in society, causing feelings of insecurity, fear and at the same time overcoming the inadequate/deficient way of dealing with it at both state and individual level. Considering the above, the present research work aims to investigate the way in which the phenomenon of femicide is defined, inter-preted, evaluated, and also affects students at the Aegean University. Regarding its structure, the present work has been structured in two parts, the theo-retical and the research. The theoretical part consists of a total of 3 chapters which seek to highlight as many aspects of the phenomenon as possible. Τhen follows the last part which consists of the research and concludes with the conclu-sions/discussion. |
