Description: Guttate psoriasis is a psoriasis subtype often triggered by infections that may progress to chronic plaque psoriasis. While some cases resolve on their own, severe disease can be challenging to manage. The experience of our patient, together with recent reports, suggests that interim treatment with biologics such as interleukin (IL)-17 and IL-23 inhibitors may induce long-term remission. Further research is needed to explore the potential role of biologics as a therapeutic option for this condition.
