| Description: | В статье рассматриваются качественно новые способы репрезентации коммуникативной функции языка, где последний выступает как комплексная знаковая система, выраженная посредством гетерогенных текстов. Автором проанализированы основные характеристики подобного когерентного целого, в рамках изучения которого отдельно были рассмотрены поликодовые и полимодальные тексты. Целью исследования является сравнительно-сопоставительный анализ основных положений таких лингвокультурных явлений, как поликодовость и полимодальность. Отмечается смежность данных понятий, обусловленная повсеместным присутствием семиотических кодов, при этом термины не относятся к разряду взаимозаменяемых в связи с приоритизацией отдельных дискурсивных аспектов. The article examines qualitatively new ways of representing the communicative function of language, where the latter acts as a complex sign system expressed through heterogeneous texts. The author analyses the main characteristics of such a coherent whole, within the framework of the study, in which polycode and polymodal texts were treated separately. The aim of the research is a comparative analysis of the main provisions of such linguocultural phenomena as polycode and polymodality. It is noted that these concepts are related due to the ubiquitous presence of semiotic codes, while the terms are not interchangeable due to the prioritisation of certain discursive aspects.
