| Description: | The article considers female artists’ ex-libris stored in the funds of the Krasnodar Regional Art Museum named after F.A. Kovalenko (KRAM). The relevance of the topic is due to the need to search for and use modern approaches in the study of museum collections. In most studies, the funds of art museums are analyzed according to the historicalchronological, type, genre, thematic approaches, or their combinations. In this research, we used historical-chronological, type and gender approaches. The aim of this work was a comprehensive study of ex-libris created by female artists and stored in the KRAM funds. We set the objectives of selecting, systematizing, attributing the selected category of works, as well as analyzing it in terms of thematic and artistic features. The ex-libris of female artists from the KRAM collection became the object of research for the first time. The sources for the research were bookplates created by female artists and included in the KRAM funds. The KRAM collection contains 5,177 ex-libris (main and auxiliary scientific funds), received in 1982 from the graphic artist, chairman of the board of the Krasnodar branch of the Union of Artists of the USSR Vladimir Ptashinsky and in 2000 from the book historian of the Kuban and the North Caucasus, bibliologist and bibliographer Arkady Slutsky. The collections are introduced into academic discourse. Each of the collections has its own specifics, determined by the time and place of its formation, personal tastes, as well as the circle of acquaintances of its collector. Works created by female artists selected for analysis were 300 items of storage by 60 authors, that is, less than 6% of the collection. In the course of the study, we classified and systematized the ex-libris, and attributed some of the works. The works from the funds allow tracing the general tendency in the development of the art of the 20th-century ex-libris, determining the peculiarities of the themes and creative manners of female artists. For the attribution of works, the State Catalog of the Museum Fund of the Russian Federation was used. The practical significance of the study lies in the use of the data obtained in the research, teaching, and practical work of museums of artistic and literary profile. Статья посвящена изучению созданных женщинами-художницами экслибрисов, хранящихся в фондах Краснодарского краевого художественного музея имени Ф.А. Коваленко. В ходе исследования авторами проведена классификация, систематизация коллекции и атрибуция некоторых произведений. Произведения из фондов позволяют проследить общую тенденцию развития искусства экслибриса XX века, определить особенности тематики и творческой манеры женщин-художниц. Вводятся в научный оборот личные коллекции В.А. Пташинского и А.И. Слуцкого, переданные в дар музею или приобретенные, имеющие региональное значение. |
