| Description: | The article studies the problem of compliance to treatment of patients with diabetes mellitus as well as the factors that influence the attitude to the treatment.Aim. To study the compliance to treatment of patients of the preferential category of citizens suffering from diabetes.Methods. Questionnaire of 391 patients suffering from diabetes mellitus was conducted in Saint Petersburg «Mariinsky hospital» and «City Hospital of Holy Martyrs Elizabeth» of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in 2019-2020. The representativeness of the sample was checked by the method of A.M. Merkov, and the error did not exceed 5%. Statistical processing of the results was carried out with Microsoft Office Excel 2010.Results. For 65.5% of respondents, the compliance with restrictions of the way of life is extremely hard. 65.2% of responders could not completely give up harmful habits. In only half of the cases did the respondents regularly visit a doctor, were confident in the specialist and were satisfied with being fully informed about their health, monitored their blood glucose levels and followed the correct drug regimen. The main factors affecting the routine, according to patients, were: restrictions of outpatient care availability, lack of trust to the doctor, shortage or lack of subsidized drugs in pharmacies and their high price. At the same time, the level of giving up harmful habits was significantly (p В статье рассмотрена проблема приверженности к лечению пациентов с сахарным диабетом, факторы, влияющие на отношение к проводимому лечению.Цель. Изучить приверженность к лечению пациентов льготной категории граждан, страдающих сахарным диабетом.Методы. Проведено анкетирование 391 пациента, страдающих сахарным диабетом и находящихся на стационарном лечении в СПб ГБУЗ «Мариинская больница», СПб ГБУЗ «Городская больница Святой преподобномученицы Елизаветы» и госпитале МЧС в 2019-2020 гг. Репрезентативность выборки проверена по методике А.М. Меркова, ошибка не превышала 5%. Статистическая обработка результатов проведена с использованием Microsoft Office Excel 2010.Результаты. Для 65,5% респондентов соблюдение ограничений в образе жизни крайне болезненно. 65,2% – не смогли полностью отказаться от вредных привычек. Только в половине случаев респонденты регулярно посещали врача, испытывали доверие к специалисту и удовлетворенность от полноты информирования о своем здоровье, контролировали уровень глюкозы в крови и соблюдали правильный режим приема лекарств. Основными факторами, снижающими преемственность, по мнению пациентов являлись: ограничения в доступности амбулаторно-поликлинической помощи, недоверие к врачу, дефицит или отсутствие льготных лекарств в аптеках и их дороговизна.
