| Description: | In the course of experimental studies the regularities of the formation of the wiping belt (contamination) along the edges of the entrance gunshot damage to the fabric of clothing caused by shots from a long distance were studied. It is established that the shape of the wiping belt depends on the properties of the affected barrier (mainly the rigidity of its second layer), and the intensity depends on the purity of the barrel of the weapon and the time elapsed between shots. В ходе экспериментальных исследований изучались закономерности формирования пояска обтирания (загрязнения) по краям входных огнестрельных повреждений ткани одежды, причиненных выстрелами с неблизкой дистанции. Установлено, что форма пояска обтирания зависит от свойств поражаемой преграды (преимущественно жесткости ее второго слоя), а интенсивность – от чистоты ствола оружия и времени между выстрелами.
