| Περιγραφή: | With the entry of the USSR into World War II, military mobilization was declared on the territory of the union republics. Every citizen who knew how to handle a weapon strove to defend the Motherland. The population that did not go to the front was involved in such activities as Osoaviakhim (The Society for the Assistance of Defense, Aircraft and Chemical Construction), GTO (Ready for Labor and Defense), GSO (Ready for Sanitary Defense), PVHO (Air Defense and Chemical Defense), BGSO (Be Ready for the Sanitary Defense). Certain problems arose in organizing these activities. The difficulties lay in creating teams, finding training facilities equipped with military weapons, and drawing up plans for training activities. Despite these shortcomings, the first stage of training still took place. Over time, thanks to the help of party and Komsomol organizations, the shortcomings were eliminated. In some areas of the region, such as Gurlain and Shavat, only the practical parts of the training activities of the first stage of military training were completed. Residents of Urgench and Khiva actively participated in these classes. Women were also involved in the classes. A special sniper unit was formed from them. As soon as they completed the training, they were sent to the front. During 1941–1943, 37 thousand young men and women who had undergone military training from the Tashkent region alone were sent to the army from the Uzbek SSR, and over 40 thousand young people from the Khorezm region went to the front during 1941–1943, 305 of whom were women. A large reserve of snipers, machine gunners, submachine gunners and tank operators was prepared for the Red Army during combined arms exercises in the Khorezm region. С момента вступления СССР во Вторую мировую войну на территории союзных республик была объявлена военная мобилизация. Каждый гражданин, умеющий обращаться с оружием, стремился защищать Родину. Население, не ушедшее на фронт, было привлечено к деятельности таких организаций, как Осоавиахим, ГТО, ГСО, ПВХО, БГСО. При организации этих занятий возникали определенные проблемы. Сложности заключались в создании команд, поиске учебных помещений, оснащенных вооружением, составлении планов учебных мероприятий. Несмотря на эти недостатки занятия первого этапа все же состоялись. Со временем, благодаря помощи партийных и комсомольских организаций, недостатки были устранены. В некоторых районах области, таких как Гурлен и Шават, были выполнены только практические части учебных мероприятий первого этапа военного обучения. На этих занятиях активно участвовали жители Ургенча и Хивы. К занятиям также были привлечены и женщины. Из них было сформировано специальное подразделение снайперов. Как только они закончили обучение, их отправили на фронт. В течение 1941–1943 гг. только из Ташкентской области Узбекской ССР в армию было отправлено 37 тысяч юношей и девушек, прошедших военную подготовку, а из Хорезмской области за то время на фронт ушло более 40 тысяч молодых людей, 305 из которых были женщины. На общевойсковых учениях в Хорезмской области для Красной Армии был подготовлен большой резерв из снайперов, пулеметчиков, автоматчиков и танковых управленцев. |
