| Description: | The article investigates the semantic and associative potential of German onyms to form metaphtonyms. It is concluded that metaphtonyms are cognitive blends based on the conceptual integration of metonymic and metaphoric domains of onyms. It is shown that the metonymic domain of metaphtonyms is based on the replacement of an appellative by an onym according to the principle: a specific anthroponym instead of a certain category of people, a specific toponym instead of a certain geographical category. The correspondence of the semantic content of metaphthonyms and the set of conceptual metaphors derived from the associative content of the corresponding onym is established. The effectiveness of the application of J. Pustejovsky’s doctrine of qualia-structure in determining the formal, constitutive, telic and agentive properties represented by conceptual metaphors in the structure of a metaphthonym is demonstrated. В статье исследуется семантический и ассоциативный потенциалы немецких онимов в образовании метафтонимов. Сделан вывод о том, что метафтонимы представляют собой когнитивные бленды на основе концептуальной интеграции метонимических и метафорических доменов онимов. Показано, что метонимический домен метафтонима основан на замене апеллятива онимом по следующему принципу: конкретный антропоним вместо определенной категории людей и конкретный топоним вместо определенного географического объекта. Установлено соответствие семантического наполнения метафтонимов набору концептуальных метафор, выводимых из ассоциативного наполнения соответствующего онима. Продемонстрирована эффективность применения учения Дж. Пустейовского о квалиа-структуре при определении формальных, конститутивных, телических и агентивных свойств, репрезентируемых концептуальными метафорами в структуре метафтонима. |
