| Description: | After the liberation of Korea from Japanese colonial rule, its northern part, for a number of reasons, embarked on the path of building socialism. At the same time, the influence of countries that chose the socialist path of development played a significant role in this process. For villagers in the DPRK, annual reference books such as “Calendar Book” (Inmin Ryeokseo) were published. In particular, they paid considerable attention to various dates connected with the building of socialism in the countries of Europe and Asia. By publishing such reference books, the North Korean authorities apparently tried to convince their people that the choice for the socialist path of development was true and that the DPRK could receive assistance from the socialist countries. После освобождения Кореи от японского колониального господства ее северная часть по целому ряду причин встала на путь построения социализма. При этом немалую роль в указанном процесс играло влияние стран, выбравших социалистический путь развития. Для жителей села в КНДР издавались ежегодные справочные издания, такие как “Календарные книги” (Инмин рёксо). В них, в частности, уделялось немалое внимание различным датам, связанным с построением социализма в странах Европы и Азии. Издавая подобные справочные издания, власти Северной Кореи, очевидно, пытались убедить свое население в верности выбора социалистического пути развития и в том, что КНДР может получить помощь от социалистических стран. |
