| Description: | In the article presents information on the conduct of anthropological studies in the territory of Belarus in the 1920-1930s. It is considered that the establishment of an anthropological school in Belarus dates back to the 1960s. However, the formation of anthropology as science in the territory of Belarus began in the 1920s when an anthropological commission was organized under the Institute of the Belarusian Culture, which was subsequently renamed into the Department of Anthropology of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences. The foundation of these structures is an important milestone in Belarusian anthropology. The department worked in several areas along with anthropometry, it studied the issues of higher nervous activity. An extensive complex program and comprehensive approach to the issue were an innovative phenomenon for the period in question. В статье приводится информация о проведении антропологических исследований на территории Беларуси в 1920 1930-х годах. Считается, что становление антропологической школы в Беларуси относится к 1960-м годам. Но на самом деле, становление антропологии как науки на территории Беларуси началось ещё в 1920-х годах, когда в составе Института Белорусской Культуры была организована антропологическая комиссия, которая затем была переименована в кафедру антропологии Белорусской академии наук. Организация данных структур является знаковым событием для белорусской антропологии. Кафедра проводила работу в нескольких направлениях вместе с антропометрией изучались проблемы высшей нервной деятельности. Широкая комплексная программа и целостный подход к проблеме были «новаторскими» для того времени. |
