| Description: | The purpose of the work is to substantiate the need to give the status of a «geopark» of the territory adjacent to the Kazbek-Jimarai massif, including the river valleys: Terek, Genaldon and Giseldon from the northern foot of the Greater Caucasus to the state border of Russia. The planned geopark meets all the requirements of UNESCO for this type of territory. Целью работы является обоснование необходимости придания статуса «геопарк» территории, прилегающей к Казбекско-Джимарайскому массиву и включающей долины рек: Терек, Геналдон и Гизельдон от северного подножья Большого Кавказа до государственной границы России. Планируемый геопарк отвечает всем требованиям, предъявляемым ЮНЕСКО к территориям данного типа. |
