Περιγραφή: This collection brings together five working papers published in 2025 by the Cognitive Drift Institute. Together, they present a set of related analytical frameworks for examining contemporary cognition from information-theoretic and systems-level perspectives.Across the papers, the work examines how high-entropy information environments, algorithmic feeds, and synthetic media interact with human cognition. The analyses focus on recurring patterns of feedback, compression, and mediation that shape how meaning, attention, and identity reorganize under accelerated digital conditions. The collection introduces and develops a shared conceptual vocabulary used across the papers, including Recursive Compression Theory, Cognitive Drift, Semantic Drift, Synthetic Realness, Co-Cognition, Synthetic Flow, and the Mirror Effect. These concepts are employed to describe structural dynamics rather than individual traits or outcomes. As a collection, the papers document the Cognitive Drift Institute’s early analytical work on cognition in digitally mediated environments. The volume is aligned with the broader Reality Drift project and is intended as a reference archive for researchers, designers, and cultural analysts examining human–AI interaction and symbolic systems at scale.Part of the Reality Drift framework (2023–2026) by A. Jacobs.
