English and Chinese exhibit significant disparities in syntactic structures, which are manifested in basic sentence patterns, clause structures, tenses, voices, and word orders. These differences profoundly mirror the diverse thinking modes and cognitive characteristics rooted in distinct cultural backgrounds. This paper conducts a systematic comparative analysis of English and Chinese syntactic structures, revealing their similarities and differences, exploring the impact of these disparities on English learners, and proposing effective learning strategies to help learners overcome difficulties and enhance their linguistic proficiency.
