В статье представлены результаты сравнительного исследования старения населения двух столиц: Москвы и Санкт-Петербурга. Показано, что несмотря на схожесть социально-экономического развития двух городов рост ожидаемой продолжительности жизни (ОПЖ) и темпы старения населения различаются: Москва стареет быстрее как за счет более быстрого снижения рождаемости, так и за счет раньше начавшегося роста ожидаемой продолжительности жизни в старших возрастах. Обсуждаются причины такого опережающего роста, от статистических ошибок до роли образования населения и роли миграции. The article presents the results of comparative studies of the aging of the population of two Russian capitals : Moscow and St. Petersburg. It is shown that despite the similar socio-economic development of the two cities, the growth in life expectancy and the rate of population aging differ: Moscow is aging faster both due to a faster decrease in fertility and due to earlier growth in life expectancy at older ages. The reasons for this outstripping growth are discussed, from statistical errors to the role of population education and the impact of migration. |
