Περιγραφή: An essential element of offshore seismic surveys using towed streamers is their continuous positioning during operations. At present, the positioning systems developed abroad by Sercel, Sonardyne, ION and others are no longer available to Russian service companies engaged in marine seismic surveys. Therefore, the topical problem is to develop a domestic software and hardware system for positioning towed seismic streamers (HSC APTS), compatible with the used geophysical equipment.Modern streamer positioning systems are a network of mounted autonomous acoustic transponders installed along the streamers with an interval of about 300 m. In this case, the lengths of seismic streamers can reach 10 km and up to 10 streamers can be towed in parallel with a distance of about 100 m between them. Each transponder emits a signal, receiving by other transponders, and registers signals from other transponders by itself during positioning. Several transponders at the head and at the tail of the streamers are attached to the head and tail buoys equipped with GPS receivers. The moments of emission of the transponders are synchronized, the transponders can emit and receive individual signals simultaneously. The travel times of the selected individual signals are used to determine the distances between the transponders. Further, on the basis of the totality of these data, the problem of the position of transponders in the network is solved. The report provides the characteristics of the HSC APTS, developed in recent years in Andreyev Acoustical Institute , and also presents the data of sea trials of this complex.
В докладе представлены характеристики и результаты морских испытаний отечественной системы акустического позиционирования буксируемых сейсмокос, разработанной в АО АКИН.
