| Description: | The issues of patriotic education and military-physical training of students at higher educational institutions for military service and state defense remain relevant in any historical era. In the article the authors attempted to identify the organizational and pedagogical aspects of mass defense, physical education and sports activities us-ing the example of higher educational institutions of the Crimean ASSR in the late 30s – early 40s of the 20th cen-tury. Based on a systematic and regional approach, the scientific article used a complex of general theoretical, historical, and historical-pedagogical methods (analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological liter-ature, system-historical analysis, historical-retrospective, comparative methods, and modeling). The main sources for studying this issue are the documents of the Republi-can Committee for Physical Education and Sports under the Council of People's Commissars of the Crimean Au-tonomous Soviet Socialist Republic from 1937 to 1941, which were first introduced into scientific circulation. The results of the conducted research allowed us to identify the key features of the system of defense, physical edu-cation, and military-patriotic work in the Crimean higher education institutions during the studied period. It was found that its effectiveness was ensured by the integra-tion of the efforts of the state, public, and party bodies of the peninsula, as well as the administration and public ac-tivists of the universities. The best teaching staff was con-centrated in educational institutions, and training assis-tants were prepared from among the students. Educa-tional institutions were included in the system of sports and social competitions, from intra-university to Аll-Cri-mean levels. Almost all students and faculty members of Crimean higher education institutions participated in sports or defense sections, brigades, clubs, and detach-ments, and were involved in passing the standards for ob-taining defense badges. The system of organizing defense work in Crimean higher education institutions demon-strated its effectiveness during the Great Patriotic War. The theoretical significance of the work lies in obtaining previously unknown data on the organization of defense and military physical education in the universities of the Crimean ASSR, which contributes to a more complete and profound understanding of the region's development. The practical significance of the work is due to the possi-bility of further critical reflection and borrowing of posi-tive experience for the further development and im-provement of the modern system of training students to defend their country. Вопросы патриотического воспитания и военно-физи-ческой подготовки обучающихся высших учебных за-ведений к службе в армии и защите Отечества остаются актуальными в любую историческую эпоху. Цель работы – выявление организационных и педагогических особенностей оборонно-массовой и физкуль-турно-спортивной работы на примере высших учебных заведений Крымской АССР в конце 30-х – начале 40-х годов ХХ века. На основе системного и регио-нального подходов в работе был использован комплекс общетеоретических, исторических и историко-педагогических методов (анализ и обобщение научно-методической литературы, системно-исторический анализ, историко-ретроспективный, сравнительно-сопоставительный методы, метод моделирования). Основными источниками при изучении проблемы стали делопроизводственные документы Рес-публиканского комитета по делам физической куль-туры и спорта при Совете народных комиссаров Крымской АССР за 1937–1941 годы из фондов Госу-дарственного архива Республики Крым, которые впервые введены в научный оборот. Результаты проведенных исследований позволили определить клю-чевые особенности системы оборонной, физкультурной и военно-патриотической работы в крымских вузах исследуемого периода. Установлено, что ее эффективность обеспечивалась интеграцией усилий государственных, общественных и партийных органов полуострова, администрации и общественного актива вузов. В учебных заведениях концентрировались луч-шие преподавательские кадры и велась подготовка помощников инструкторов из числа обучающихся. Коллективы вузов были включены в систему спортивных соревнований и соцсоревнований от внутриву-зовского до всекрымского уровня. Почти все студенты и преподаватели вузов Крыма участвовали в деятельности спортивных или оборонных секций, бригад, кружков и отрядов и были вовлечены в сдачу норм для получения оборонных значков. Система поста-новки оборонной работы в крымских вузах показала свою действенность в период Великой Отечественной войны. Теоретическая значимость работы заключается в получении ранее неизвестных данных о постановке оборонно-массовой и военно-физкультурной работы в вузах Крымской АССР, способствующих более полному и глубокому пониманию особенностей развития региона. Практическая значимость работы обусловлена возможностью дальнейшего критического осмысления и заимствования положительного опыта для дальнейшего развития и совершенствова-ния современной системы подготовки студентов к защите Отечества. |
