| Περιγραφή: | In 2020, marks 115 years since the discovery of a method for measuring blood pressure using the Korotkov method. In this article, we presented the brief historical information related to this significant event. Today the method of N.S. Korotkova is a recognized global standard for non-invasive blood pressure measurement. However, information about the history of his invention remained unknown for a long time even in scientific medical circles. Long-term searches and study of archival materials of medical institutions of St. Petersburg (Leningrad) and Moscow allowed are Professor S.E. Popov find information about life N.S. Korotkov and clarify the facts regarding the history of this discovery. Korotkov's discovery of the method of measuring blood pressure was a logical and inevitable result of his research on the effectiveness of the functioning of the arterial collaterals in the wounded with traumatic aneurysms of the limbs, which he observed and operated on during the military acts was on the Far East in 1900, 1904 years. Providing surgical assistance to the wounded with traumatic aneurysms, he used auscultation of blood vessels to recognize aneurysm. Korotkov was able to establish that when applying Riva-Rochi cuff to the shoulder, with a rapid increase in pressure until the pulse disappears on the radial artery, sounds in the distal segment of the brachial artery are not heard. With a uniform decrease in pressure in the cuff, in the distal part of the artery, tones are heard first, then noises, loud tones, then their intensity gradually decreases, and soon the sounds disappear altogether. It was such a regular alternation of sounds, first discovered by Korotkov during decompression of the brachial artery that formed the basis of the sound method he discovered for measuring systolic and diastolic blood pressure В 2020 году исполняется 115 лет с открытия способа измерения артериального давления методом Короткова. В статье представлена краткая историческая информация, связанная с этим знаменательным событием. Метод Н.С. Короткова является общепризнанным мировым стандартом неинвазивного измерения АД. Открытие Коротковым звукового метода измерения АД было закономерным и неизбежным результатом его исследований по эффективности функционирования артериальных коллатералей у раненых с травматическими аневризмами конечностей, которых он наблюдал и оперировал во время военных действий на Дальнем Востоке (1900, 1904 гг.). |
