The article focuses on the language Ruby and IronRuby and demonstrate some basics of Ruby interoperating with Microsoft .NET Framework-based code. It also discusses how frameworks such as RSpec can be used to generate examples of how objects are intended to behave. It mentions that using the Ruby language, there is no need for contracts and interfaces. Moreover, Ruby embraces the concept of meta-programming, which allows the user to extend any class or object at run time, enabling him to define methods and behavior at run time. Ruby classes can also be extended to provide own functionality. |
