The Problem Solving Virtual Laboratory (PPS VLAB) learning model integrates problem-based learning within a virtual environment, enabling students to engage in laboratory-style activities to address presented issues. A preliminary investigation revealed several challenges faced by students, including difficulties in mastering hardware concepts, limited access to physical computer components, and the risk of equipment damage during hands-on practice in conventional laboratories. The model's development followed the ADDIE framework comprising: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases. Validation results demonstrated that the PPS VLAB model meets the criteria for validity, practicality, and effectiveness when applied in computer installation and operating system practicum settings. Moreover, the study identified a statistically significant improvement in learning outcomes among students utilizing the PPS VLAB model compared to those using traditional methods.
