Περίληψη: This study developed and evaluated a simulation-based learning tool using Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to improve students' conceptual understanding of rigid body dynamics, particularly in Indonesian classrooms with limited access to laboratory facilities. Employing the Educational Design Research (EDR) framework, the research included preliminary study stages, prototyping, formative and summative evaluation, and reflection. The findings indicate that the simulation is both practical and effective, yielding moderate learning gains (N-Gain = 0.46). The results underscore the potential of low-cost, offline solutions such as Excel-VBA simulations to serve as scalable alternatives to traditional laboratories, thereby promoting equitable access to quality physics education. This study contributes practical design principles for future development of similar tools and recommends integration into broader educational settings and national curricula. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
