| Abstract (English): |
The ability to write observation report texts is an essential skill that students need to systematically and clearly document their findings. This study aims to examine the implementation of the problem-based learning (PBL) model assisted by Canva in improving high school students' ability to write observation reports. The research method used is a pre-experimental design with a single experimental group, involving 35 tenth-grade students from a high school in Bandung Regency, selected through convenience sampling. The research instrument was a scoring rubric developed through expert and empirical validation. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis by comparing pre-test and post-test scores. The results show a significant improvement in the ability to write observation reports after the implemesntation of the PBL model assisted by Canva, as evidenced by the increase in average post-test scores. These findings imply that PBL assisted by Canva can be an effective method for enhancing students' report writing skills and provides an opportunity to integrate technology into writing instruction in schools.
