| Περίληψη: | The paper describes how a large healthcare organization used RE-AIM and CFIR frameworks to systematically guide the program planning for an evidence-based doula program. Despite the known benefits of doulas, disparities persist, specifically among vulnerable individuals. The program embraced a holistic approach that coupled screening and nurse navigation with doula care to at-risk pregnant individuals. Identified barriers and facilitators influenced program design to improve reach and effectiveness. The paper presents how RE-AIM and CFIR can be used to design a comprehensive doula program, aimed to address an ongoing public health crisis. (Copyright © 2026 Gatus, Folh, Kobina and Bhaloo.) |
