The article reports on Amazon's introduction of a faster and slimmer Fire TV Stick 4K streaming device, priced at $59.99, along with a redesigned remote and updates to Alexa+ for the living room. The device features an 8GB internal storage, quad-core processor, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3, with claims of faster app launches and content playback compared to competitors. It supports multiple HDR formats but excludes Dolby Vision. The Fire TV Stick 4K is part of Amazon's streamlined lineup, which also includes the Fire TV Stick HD and Fire TV Stick 4K Max. The new remote includes a customizable button and an asymmetric design for better usability. Alexa+ gains a dedicated hub on Fire TV, offering smarter AI responses based on real-world context, subscriptions, and watch history. The updates will roll out in November and expand to more devices and countries next year. Additionally, Amazon is overhauling its Amazon Music app on Fire TV to support music videos, video podcasts, and live concerts. [Extracted from the article] |
