Περίληψη: This study explores Chinese business students' perceptions of corporate social responsibility (CSR), particularly the influence of leadership obligation and financial commitment on personal CSR values. Utilizing a quantitative-correlational research design, data were collected from 114 graduating students through a structured survey encompassing three variables: personal values, leadership responsibilities, and financial orientation. Descriptive statistics showed that students strongly value CSR and view corporate leadership as responsible for addressing environmental and social concerns. However, financial commitment for CSR initiatives was perceived with mixed perception, often considered costly yet important. Correlation analysis revealed strong positive relationships among all three variables, with the most robust correlation between personal values and leadership responsibility (r = 0.907, p < .001). A robust linear regression analysis further indicated that students' perceptions of leadership responsibilities significantly predicted their personal CSR values (ß = 0.767, p < .001), explaining 42.9% of the variance (R² = 0.429). In contrast, financial orientation did not significantly predict personal values (ß = -0.151, p = 0.178). These findings underscore that students' alignment with CSR is driven more by ethical leadership perceptions than by financial rationale. The study highlights the need for CSR education that integrates leadership ethics and emphasizes the strategic role of responsible corporate behavior in shaping future leaders' values.
