Περίληψη: This article focuses on integrating a marketplace inclusion lens into the PESTEL framework—a widely used tool for analyzing market macroenvironmental forces (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environmental, and Legal)—to improve marketing strategy development. It argues that current PESTEL applications emphasize organizational impacts while insufficiently addressing how these forces differentially affect diverse consumers and communities, leading to "marketplace inclusion myopia." The authors propose a template that incorporates diagnostic prompts to assess inclusion-related factors within each PESTEL force, aiming to guide more equitable and effective marketing decisions. They recommend collaborative efforts among professional associations, organizations, educators, and researchers to adopt and refine this inclusion-embedded approach, thereby enhancing both organizational performance and social equity.
