In this work, we investigate a potential explanation for the anomalous absorption signal reported by the Experiment to Detect the Global Epoch of Reionization Signature (EDGES). We consider a modified phase-space measure inspired by the Generalized Uncertainty Principle (GUP), characterized by a cubic momentum-dependent factor. We derive the resulting modified photon thermal spectrum and compare it with the EDGES experimental data. Our analysis determines the best-fit parameter for this cubic correction to be λ = (− 6. 5 4 − 4. 6 4 + 3. 7 8) × 1 0 9 eV − 2 . Our findings suggest that GUP-induced phase-space modifications provide a plausible and observationally consistent explanation for the observed 21 -cm anomaly. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
