Dicranopteris linearis, a plant species widely used in traditional Vietnamese medicine, was subjected to phytochemical investigation. A new flavonoid glycoside, kaempferol-3-O-(4″,6″-di(E-p-coumaroyl)-β-D-glucopyranoside (1), together with three known compounds, shikimic acid (2), angelicin (3), and 3,4-dihydroxycinnamic acid (4), were isolated and structurally elucidated from the spores of D. linearis. Evaluation of the α-glucosidase inhibitory activity of 1–4 revealed that 1 exhibited significant activity, with an IC50 value of 22.5 μM. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
