This research aimed to study the effect of utilizing the microcontroller Arduino UNO R3 through integrated STEM activity on problem-solving skills, content knowledge, and attitude towards integrated STEM activity entitled earthquake tracking system. The participants in this study included thirty 3 rd year pre-service science teachers who were studying in the Faculty of Education, Buriram Rajabhat University obtained by simple random sampling technique. Earthquake tracking system STEM activity lesson plans, conceptual understanding test, problem-solving skills assessment forms, and attitude towards STEM activity questionnaires were used as research instruments. One group pretest-posttest design was used to analyze the data. The results were as follows: (1) overall assessment score of problem - solving skills was at high level (2) different mean score of the pre-service science teachers' conceptual understanding on earthquake tracking system after intervention was significantly higher than before and (3) mean score of students' attitudes towards STEM activity was at high level in all aspects of assessment. This study revealed that utilizing microcontroller Arduino UNO R3 through integrated STEM activity can be a promising educational tool. Moreover, this finding demonstrates integrating technology and engineering in STEM to enhance students' competencies, especially in the teaching preparation program of pre-service science teachers.
