Περίληψη: Using handheld devices, it is found that the security of various factors over devices has been a key challenge in the recent years. The security of handheld devices has gained importance due to operation in heterogeneous computer networks. To identify an effective security solution, it is essential to prioritize the security factors. The study uses the Hungarian method to rank the security factors, which is useful for finding the assignment value for optimum results. In the present work, a survey is done of the different segments of users who are using handheld devices, the security factors are ranked using linguistic scales and thereafter subsequently converted into numerical values to create a cost matrix. Further, said mathematical approach is applied for assigning the security factors according to importance, and values for the recommendation are recorded for the efficient functioning of the handheld devices by the user.
