| Abstract: |
The General Authority for Statistics announced that the population of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reached 32,175,224; which is according to the results of the 2022 Saudi Census. The Saudi population continues to grow and it is important to predict the total population in the future to build adequate schools, hospitals, infrastructure, etc. In this research we use different mathematical models to predict the population growth. First, we fit the data (published total population) with these models by using the method of least squares. Then the statistical measure R-squared is calculated to measure how good these models fit the data, and finally future predictions are made. This research provides insights into the future of population growth in Saudi Arabia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
