The article discusses the translation's value of two manuscripts and a typescript of the Malo's Mo'olelo Hawai'i from the Davida Malo files at the Bishop Museum in Honolulu, Hawaii. Topics covered include descriptions of the manuscripts, details relating to the anonymous English translation of the Mo'olelo Hawai'i manuscript, and the relationship of the two English manuscripts which serve as a guide to understanding the Malo tribe in Hawaii.
