Initially, there is presented an overview of Financial Services in order to highlight the fundamental differences of operations in this sector vs. operations in manufacturing. Subsequently, taking into account these differences we adapt VSM to Financial Services. The adapted methodology applied to a sample service. This application illustrates the power of VSM in improving Financial Service operations. |
